NSTDA and OCSC Delegation Visit UCAS

A joint delegation led by Prof. Pairash Thajchayapong, Specialist and Senior Advisor of National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and Mr. Charnvit Krairiksh, Deputy Secretary General of Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) visited UCAS on 25 March, 2013.

 
Prof. Zhu Xiangbin, Assistant President of UCAS, met with them. Prof. Zhu expressed his welcome for the second visit of Prof. Pairash Thajchayapong. He also described the results of UCAS' international collaboration. Prof. Pairash Thajchayapong praised the collaboration between UCAS and Thai Government since 2011. So far, there are 16 PhD students from Thailand studying at UCAS.
 
Mr. Charnvit Krairiksh, Deputy Secretary General, OCSC proposed that a second phase of memorandum of understanding between UCAS and OCSC be signed in 2014 for the purpose of encouraging official, staffs, faculties and students’ exchanges with a view to developing a long term collaborative research link. Mr. Charnvit Krairiksh also expresses his strong interest in CAS-TWAS President Scholarship Program.
 
In April 3rd, 2011, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Office of the Civil Service Commission was signed in Beijing. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand attended the signing ceremony.
