The 9th International Student Research Forum (ISRF) was held at the Gold Coast campus of Griffith University during October 14-16th, 2013 in Australia. Students from 5 countries including Australia, China, Denmark, Japan and the United States attended this forum.
In this year’s forum, topics covered diverse aspects of life sciences and biomedical research. 50 students reported their research findings and shared the opinions on molecular biology, cancer biology, immunology, neurobiology and drug delivery research. Forum was well organized and provided the opportunities for students to establish their future collaborations and develop professional relationships with each other.
ISFR aims to attract the world’s brightest upcoming scientists, calling for collaboration beyond the lines of disciplines and nationalities. The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the University of Tokyo initiated the forum and the forum has been successfully carried out each year since 2005. This year’s forum is hosted by Griffith University in Australia. Students from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the University of Tokyo, University of Nebraska Medical Center and the University of Southern Denmark are invited to attend the forum.
