The Third Symposium of Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research held in UCAS

On Oct 24 to 25, the 3rd symposium of Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research (SDC for short) was held at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing. 79 scientists and professors from China and Denmark in fields of sustainable energy, water and environment, nano science and life sciences participated in the event.

 

 

At the opening ceremony, representatives delivered reports on the development of the four fields of SDC. After that, scientists from the two countries had group discussions based on research subjects. They offered priceless suggestions to SDC development on scientific research, education and management.

 

The symposium of SDC is in turn hosted by UCAS and the Danish side in every two years. Currently master’s students enrolled at SDC totals 249, with 153 from China and 96 from Denmark, PhD students 69, with 25 from China and 44 from Denmark.
