On 25 May the UCAS Doctoral Candidate Chorus sang at Zhejiang University to celebrate its anniversary.
Zhejiang University has historical links with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). In 1952 when the national departments were adjusted, several Zhejiang University departments merged with CAS. Such leading researchers as Zhu Kezhen, Zhou Rongxing, Qiang Sanqiang, and Lu Yongxiang, the former President of Zhejiang University, joined CAS, as well as other Zhejiang University alumni.
The UCAS Doctoral Candidate Chorus gave its eleventh performance in Zhejiang province.
