A cooperation agreement was signed by Prof. Ding Zhongli, UCAS President and Mr. Chang Wei, Governor of Huairou District, Beijing, on 8 December, announcing the establishment of the Huairou Affiliated Hospital of UCAS by UCAS and the Huairou District.
Based on equality and mutually beneficial cooperation, the Huairou Affiliated Hospital of UCAS will focus on scientific research and education, the introduction of prominent scientists, the establishment of key disciplines and transformation of R & D achievements, to forge a leading regional medical center in Beijing by the 13th five-year plan. UCAS and the Huairou District will jointly set up medical teaching and research laboratories and establish the “Yanqihu Medical Forum”, which will be held once every two years.
