The Sino-Danish College (SDC) 2015 Christmas Party was held on 13 December. Graduate students from the seven SDC disciplines celebrated together.

The Christmas party began at 6:30 p.m., including elaborately prepared Christmas gifts. More than ten students sang ‘Santa Lucia’ while holding candles, while others tasted Danish-style champagne. A Danish student, dressed as Santa Claus, drew lucky numbers and distributed prizes. A stylish buffet dinner was served by an authentic Danish restaurant, during which students laughed and talked. The high point of the Christmas party was the distribution of gifts.

Christmas is the most important festival in Denmark. All cities in Denmark are decked out for the holiday throughout December. Many Danish students from SDC said they appreciated SDC preparing the Christmas party, which made them feel warm despite being far from their homeland.
