The 2017 USEFUL Gas Volleyball Challenge of Beijing Universities was held in Bejing Jiaotong University on Aprill 22 to 23. The UCAS team went on a winning streak from the group phase all the way through the final championship , all with an overwhelming 2-0 lead.
The team consisted of 8 graduates and 2 undergraduates who were selected from 26 experienced school players. As a university specializing in science and engineering, it was challenging to win such a title. Due to diligent practice and excellent teamwork, UCAS stood out from other teams.
It was the highest level of volleyball competition among universities in Beijing. Forty-four teams from 29 universities, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Renmin University of China, participated in the competition. The Challenge was endorsed by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and Federation of University Sports of Beijing (FUSB), and organized by the volleyball department of FUSB, Beijing Jiaotong University and the Volleyball Sports Management Centre of General Administration of Sports of China.
