UCLA Chancellor and Delegation Visit GUCAS

On April 21, 2011, a delegation from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), headed by Chancellor Gene Block, visited GUCAS. GUCAS Executive Vice-President Prof. Deng Yong, met the UCLA guests, along with Acting Dean of the College of Life Sciences Prof. Ding Wenjun, and Deputy Dean of the College of Management Prof. Zhao Hong.
 
Prof. Deng welcomed the delegation and briefed them about the GUCAS management system and the features of CAS graduate education. He expressed his hope that both universities could carry out more mutually beneficial exchange and cooperation programs in graduate student education. Chancellor Block proposed that a coordinating office be established to facilitate cooperation, with faculty and student exchange programs initiated between the two universities.
