Copenhagen Business School (CBS) announced two SDC PhD scholarships in the field of social sciences in May. The scholarship is the first of its kind for Danish students studying in the Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research (SDC).
CBS invites applications for two vacant PhD scholarships in social science. The PhD must conduct research which is embedded in already existing research projects at CBS related to the SDC.
The scholarships will be available from 1 August 2011. The PhD scholarship recipient can be situated at any department or center at CBS which has research on Danish-Chinese issues related to the SDC, and the department/centre must have supervision competences within the field.
Core research areas for the PhD students are (1) welfare, social innovation, public management and social development and (2) innovation management.
