Nanyang Technological University Delegation Visits UCAS

A delegation led by Prof. Stephen Kevin Smith, Vice President, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), visited UCAS on 28 November,

2012. Prof. Su Gang, Vice President, UCAS, hosted their visit with Prof. Zhang Hongxun of the College of Resources and Environment

attending the meeting.

Prof. Su welcomed the second visit of the NTU delegation. He expressed his appreciation for the ongoing collaboration of UCAS and

NTU. Prof. Smith said that the purpose of the second visit to UCAS since 2009 is to strengthen bilateral collaboration in Environmental

Microbiology, Ecology, Genomics and Engineering, and to deepen academic exchange and increase graduate student exchange. UCAS

and NTU will formally renew their future collaboration agreement.

Currently NTU is ranked 47th globally by the QS World University Rankings, placing it in the top 1% of universities globally. Among

universities in the list, NTU is ranked 9th in Asia.
