Energy Academy Europe Delegation Visits UCAS

A delegation led by Mr. Noe van Hulst, Director of the Energy Academy Europe (EAE), visited UCAS on 15 May, 2013. Prof. Wu Yueliang, Vice President of UCAS, met with the guests.

Prof. Wu extended his warmest welcome to the distinguished guests and introduced the science and education planning of the Chinese Academy of Sciences as well as the present status of UCAS. He felt that the visit to UCAS by the EAE delegation promoted exchange and cooperation between both organizations. Mr. Hulst expressed his appreciation for the hospitality shown by UCAS and made a detailed introduction to the research and education carried out by EAE. He showed considerable interest in the International College and the Sino-Danish Center of UCAS. He said that he hoped that this visit would lay a solid foundation for future cooperation between UCAS and EAE.

GasTerra, Energy Valley, Groningen University and Hanzehogeschool Groningen are working in close collaboration with EAE to position the Netherlands and Groningen at the forefront of energy and sustainable fuels research.
