Representative from Durham University Visited School of Management

Dr. Michael J. Guo, Executive Vice Director of Research Institute for Chinas Development, Durham University, visited School of Management, UCAS on July 1. Associate Dean Professor Zhao Hong, Assistant dean Professor Lu Ping, and international cooperation office staff received the Dr. Michael J. Guo 's visit.

Dr. Guo's visit this time is the return visit after Dean Cheng Siwei’s visit to Durham this May. During the meeting, the two sides had a deep discussion in the further cooperation in Double MBA cooperation program, international Executive Education projects, Cooperative Master Programs, Faculty-Exchange Program and Joint-research Programs. After the meeting, the two sides reached a lot of constructive cooperation intention.

The two sides will soon launch the "UCAS-Durham” Economics and Environmental Economics Double Degree Master Program. In this program, the British side will provide five scholarships to the UCAS students each year.

Meanwhile, the two sides also discussed cooperating high-level joint seminars and lectures on specific topics in the future. We believe in the near future, the two sides will many accomplishments in the further cooperation.
