Finishing on 12 November, 72 UCAS volunteers served for 13 days on the sidelines of the APEC meetings in Beijing and were praised for their excellent work.

The volunteers, chosen from among a large number of students, had two training sessions before they worked at three locations in Yanqi Town, Huairou District. They answered questions from both Chinese and international visitors on the sidelines of the APEC meetings. Their enthusiasm and vitality impressed the visitors. They were called “little blue” as their uniforms were blue.

The volunteer activity was organized by the Huairou Communist Youth League and the Yanqi Communist Youth League and by the UCAS Young Volunteers Association.
