2015 entering international students from Pakistan, Iran, Nigeria and other countries participated in the orientation at the CAS Institute of Metal Research (IMR) on 18 September.
After Ms. Wei Wei briefed the students about regulations, training requirements and dormitory safety, Ms. Liu Ming, IMR Graduate Division director delivered a welcome speech, encouraging the students to devote themselves to study and research. “While working hard is important, enjoying a wonderful life is more important for everyone.” She encouraged the international students to enjoy themselves as well as their academic life in China.
“We really appreciate the support offered by IMR, and we find it to be a fantastic place for doing research," said a Nigerian student.
