The Swinburne University of Technology Delegation Visits UCAS

Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Aleksandar Subic visited UCAS on 20th January. UCAS Vice-President Wu Yueliang met with the delegates at Zhongguancun campus. The two sides discussed about the education and research collaboration, especially in the area of Space Science. Prof. Zhao Gang, Deputy Director of National Astronomical Observatories attended this meeting.

 

 

Prof. Aleksandar Subic introduced the education and research background of Swinburne University of Technology. He expressed his great interest in establishing international cooperation with UCAS. In the aspects of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Prof. Zhao Gang introduced to the delegates about the research and educational development of National Astronomical Observatories and the education of UCAS undergraduates. The two universities discussed about the joint PhD training program, undergraduate program and faculty exchange program. Both reach a consensus on collaboration.
