The unveiling ceremony of the Future Technology College was held at UCAS on August 31st at UCAS Yanqihu campus. CAS president Bai Chunli and CAS Vice-president Ding Zhongli unveiled the plaque of the college.
UCAS Future Technology College focuses on the technologies that will rebuild people’s lives, industry production, commercial consumption patterns, and even on making revolutionary changes to the global economy. Its establishment is intended to enable China’s technology to leap from running after other countries to taking the lead. It is also aimed at providing technological support to China’s key issues such as industrial structure adjustment, economic transition and national security, all while advancing the development of science and technology.
