Recently, the 2018 International Forum and Award Ceremony of the European Academy of Sciences was held in Bielefeld, Germany. As the newly elected member of the European Academy of Sciences (EURASC), Professor Wu Desheng from the School of Economics and Management of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) was invited to attend the forum, and was awarded the Academician Certificate of EURASC.
It is reported that the European Academy of Sciences currently has about 3,500 members from 63 countries, including 65 Nobel Prize winners and Fields Prize winners. Professor Wu Desheng is currently the Vice-Dean of School of Economics and Management andInternational College of UCAS and Director of Environmental Economics Research Center.
Professor Wu Desheng's research interests include Risk management, Intelligent Decision-making, etc. More than 100 SCI papers were published in periodicals such as POM, IEEETKDE, IEEE TC and DSJ, and 7 books were published by Springer Publishing Company. He also takes charge of some key subject of the national research and development projects and the programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc.
