Beijing's University of Chinese Academy of Sciences awarded 10,288 students their master or PhD degrees at a ceremony on Wednesday. The university's forerunner was the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences, founded in 1978. It was the first graduate school in China approved by the State Council.
