Recently, the research team led by Prof. LI Jiayang at Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology of Chinese Academy of Sciences (IGDB, CAS) and College of Advanced Agricultural Sciences of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) was invited to finish an editorial entitled “Short-Term and Long-Term Challenges in Crop Breeding”. The editorial is published in National Science Review, discussing the challenges and possible strategies and research directions of crop breeding.
